This course is designed for professionals working within government or related organizations involved in information security, such as information security managers, compliance officers, and IT managers. The training is also valuable for consultants who advise governments on information security.
Basic understanding of information security concepts is recommended, but not strictly necessary. The course is intended to introduce professionals to BIO in an accessible way.
The course lasts a total of 2 days.
The Certified BIO Professional (CBP®) certification enables participants to demonstrate theoretical knowledge of the Government Information Security Baseline (BIO) and apply it practically. This can be valuable in their current position at a municipality, but also in future government positions or even in business, especially for companies that work with the Dutch government.
Participants who want to deepen their knowledge in specific aspects of information security within government can follow further training in areas such as advanced risk management, crisis management, and specific BIO compliance training.
The course includes various study materials and is linked to practical manuals that delve deeper into the implementation of the BIO in different government contexts.
