During the ISTQB Foundation training there are some important topics that will certainly be discussed: the importance of testing, testing in relation to system development and the foundations of a structured testing process. The different phases in a test project are explained, after which some test techniques (both black box and white box) are treated. This foundation training therefore contains the basics in testing for both test managers and testers. In addition to theory, the training also includes a number of mock exams, so that the topics covered are placed even better in the exam context.
During the training, explicit attention is paid to relating Dutch terminology to English.
Topics in this module are test principles, life cycle testing, static techniques, test specification techniques, black box techniques, white box techniques and experienced based techniques.

Anyone who wants to qualify as a professional tester. This certification also provides good qualifications for builders, designers, programmers and project managers.
No prior knowledge is required, but it is an advantage if the participant is familiar with structured testing such as TMAP® NEXT or a comparable method.
The level of the ISTQB Foundation is HBO+.
