The ITIL 5 Foundation exam is an important step for professionals who want to demonstrate their knowledge of IT service management and achieve ITIL certification. The exam consists of 40 multiple-choice questions and takes 60 minutes. To pass, you must answer at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly, which is equivalent to 65%. The exam is closed book, what means that you are not allowed to use any additional materials, other than the exam material itself.
In some cases, when the exam is administered in a language that is not the candidate's native or working language, additional time may be granted. This varies, but generally, candidates taking the exam in a language other than their native or working language receive 25% extra time. This means that instead of the usual 60 minutes, you have 75 minutes to complete the exam.
The exam is officially administered by peoplecert.the recognized body for ITIL certifications. It's important to note that the exam voucher included with the training covers the PeopleCert exam. This ensures you're well-prepared and equipped to take the exam.
