You are a CIO, Chief Technology Officer, manager, team leader, designer, architect, planner, IT consultant, IT audit manager, IT security manager or ITSM trainer or you are part of the supervisory staff. In your role you deal with the operational activities of services, managing, coordinating or integrating them within the Service Lifecycle.
After obtaining your certificate you are familiar with the basics of service operations, the challenges, the risks and the critical success factors. You think more from the business point of view than from the technology side.
Before you can follow the ITIL V3 Service Operation you must have obtained an ITIL V3 Foundation certificate.
The level of the ITIL V3 Service Operation is MBO+.
The ITIL V3 Lifecycle Service Operation course lasts a total of 3 days, optionally, the final exam can be taken on the 3rd day.
During the exam, the candidate is tested on the following subjects: Introduction to service operation; Service operating principles; Service operation processes; common service operations activities; Organizing for service operations; technology considerations; Implementation of service operation; Challenges, critical success factors and risks.
Multiple-choice exam, 90 minutes, closed book.
