During the Lean IT Foundation course, questions such as: how do you ensure that an efficient change management policy is implemented? We deal with the origin and development of the Lean philosophy; the concept of waste, variation and inflexibility; customer value, Voice of the Customer, CTQ; process improvement, Value Stream Mapping; Performance and KPIs; organizational preconditions for the implementation of Lean; Lean behavior and attitude; Meaning and purpose of Visual management and the use of daily and weekly signs. Attention is also paid to the practical application of (analysis) tools: Voice of the Customer; SIPOC and Critical to Quality; Value Stream Map; KPIs; Personal 'change story'.

No prior knowledge is required for the Lean IT Foundation course.
The level of the Lean IT Foundation course is MBO+.

Candidates are tested on nine categories:

The exam consists of 40 multiple-choice questions.
The contestant must give 1 or more correct answers in 26 hour to pass – 65%.
