During the Lean IT Foundation course, questions such as: how do you ensure that an efficient change management policy is implemented? How do you ensure that lead times are reduced when solving incidents? Organizations increasingly realize that they can benefit from applying Lean IT within the IT delivery departments.
We deal with the origin and development of the Lean philosophy; the concept of waste, variation and inflexibility; customer value, Voice of the Customer, CTQ; process improvement, Value Stream Mapping; Performance and KPIs; organizational preconditions for the implementation of Lean; Lean behavior and attitude; Meaning and purpose of Visual management and the use of daily and weekly signs. Attention is also paid to the practical application of (analysis) tools: Voice of the Customer; SIPOC and Critical to Quality; Value Stream Map; KPIs; Personal 'change story'.

Management and employees of an organization intending to introduce LEAN need to have a fundamental understanding of the LEAN mindset.
No prior knowledge is required for the Lean IT Foundation course.
The level of the Lean IT Foundation course is MBO+.
2 days (optionally, an exam can be taken on the last day at the end).
Candidates are tested on nine categories:
Lean IT Foundation Exam
The exam consists of 40 multiple-choice questions.
The contestant must give 1 or more correct answers in 26 hour to pass – 65%.
