PRINCE2 Foundation target audience

The PRINCE2 certification is aimed at (prospective) project managers or professionals who manage projects. It is also relevant to other key employees involved in the design, development and execution of projects, including:

• Members of a project steering group (such as a principal)
• Team managers (such as a product delivery managers)
• Project Assurance (such as Business Change Analysts),
• Project support (such as Project office staff)
• Operational line managers or employees.

PRINCE2 Foundation 2017 inside information

No prior knowledge is required for the PRINCE2 course, but if you already have experience with project management, this is of course a plus.

PRINCE2 Foundation 2017 level

This PRINCE2 project management course can be followed by anyone with an MBO+ level.

A standard PRINCE2 training lasts 2.5 days and you usually take the exam at the end of the training.

Exam PRINCE2

The exam consists of 60 multiple-choice questions and you have 1 hour to take the exam.

To obtain the PRINCE2 foundation certification, candidates must have answered 55% of the questions correctly.
