Project Management Foundation

This 2-day Project Management Foundation module is aimed at every IT professional, both starters and experienced IT professionals, who want to gain more knowledge of project-based work. The module is also suitable and interesting for anyone who does not work in IT. No specific IT knowledge is required to follow the module.

Content of the training
In this module a theoretical basis is laid for participating in projects. The main subject is project technology, in which attention is paid to the crucial management aspects. Matters such as the roles of project participants and the relationship to line and staff structure are given attention. In addition, participants should be aware of a number of skills required for successful project participation.

Learning objectives and topics

Characteristics of a project, advantages and disadvantages of project-based working, critical success factors of a project, project approach, methodologies for project phasing, management aspects (GOKIT), project methods such as PRINCE2® and IPMA®, presentation and meeting techniques.
