Earlier in July 2019 we were already informed about the plans of Peoplecert (Axelos), to only sell training courses in combination with the official exams and this is now really being put into effect.
D-ICT Solutions may be an Accredited training organization (ATO/accredited training institute) from November 1 2019 no longer sell individual exams for PRINCE2® and ITIL®.
This also applies to our new ITIL® 4 Foundation e-learning module, which can be ordered until October 31 without the official ITIL® 4 Foundation exam.
Why did Axelos make this choice?
- To ensure that every candidate who invests in training also has the opportunity to obtain the corresponding certification. The certification also justifies an organization's investment in staff training.
- So that Axelos can maintain the quality of ITIL® and PRINCE2® and protect the Integrity of the brands, but also that the trust in best practices is further strengthened.
