In the first day, the TOGAF Foundation & Certified combined training will focus on the concepts of Enterprise Architecture and its position in order to extensively consider the concepts of TOGAF and the relationship between them. The second day is devoted to going through an architectural process based on a case, in which the concepts discussed the previous day are reviewed again, but this time in context. In this way you obtain a clear and clear picture of TOGAF and the mostly theoretical and abstract material is presented in a digestible way. Days 3 and 4 are devoted to deepening. The ADM cycle is repeated once again, where the components are treated in detail and in conjunction. Each part ends with a scenario question. This will give you an idea of ​​the questions that may appear in the exam and also test whether you understand the essence of the components.

TOGAF Foundation Certified Combined Course Description

During the TOGAF Foundation Certified Combined training you will learn both the material of the TOGAF Foundation Level 1 as the material of the TOGAF certified Treat level 2 training. If you already have the TOGAF Foundation certificate, you can also only use the TOGAF certified following a training program!

The TOGAF version that we are currently providing is version 9.2 and this is also the last one to be released.

The Open Group Architecture Framework, simply called TOGAF®, is an open and vendor-independent method for developing and managing Enterprise Architectures. TOGAF 9.1 is built around the process model (the core of TOGAF) with supporting concepts, these core and concepts are;

  • Architecture Development Method – The core of TOGAF that describes the life-cycle of an architecture in phases and process steps;
  • Enterprise Capability Framework – Describes the organizational aspects of the architecture lifecycle such as; control, governance and the organizational possibilities in the field of people and technology.
  • ADM Guidelines & Techniques – Are supportive of the ADM and describe specific techniques and manuals that can be applied within or about the ADM.
  • Enterprise Continuum & Tools – Describes the internal administration of architecture assets, such as the structure, setup and management of an architecture repository. It is important to create an architectural landscape, which in turn describes the context of agreements and methods.
  • TOGAF Reference Models – Describes the structure and application of the 2 TOGAF reference models, namely; Technical Reference Model (TRM) and Integrated Information Infrastructure Reference Model (III-RM).
  • Architecture Content Framework – Describes the deliverables generated from the ADM. A deliverable is a formal outcome of a step or phase and consists of building blocks and artifacts.

  • Architects and specialists who are involved in a form of Enterprise Architecture, such as; business, application, data, technology, management and security architecture.
  • Managers in the role of Project-, Operational- and Senior-Manager.

TOGAF Foundation Certified Combined prior knowledge

Affinity with (Enterprise) Architecture is recommended in order to better consume the information provided.

TOGAF Foundation Certified Combined Training Duration

The training lasts 4 days and consists of 2 consecutive days of TOGAF Foundation training and 2 consecutive days of TOGAF Certified training. Any exams will be taken separately from the training at a time and location chosen by you via Open Group. The exam vouchers can be provided by D-ICT Solutions.

The exam topics are specified in the TOGAF® Conformance Requirements, which is available through the Open Group website.

The purpose of the training is twofold; In the first place, the training covers the relevant parts required for the TOGAF 9.1 Certified (level 1 + 2) exams and, in the second place, by means of a case study, the theory taught is directly applied in practice so that you can explore the possibilities of Experience TOGAF directly in parts and then apply it in your own situation.
