Application management, and therefore also during the ASL Foundation training, involves managing the management, maintenance and renewal of applications (application software and the ((data) structures) in a commercially responsible manner.
Application Services Library, (ASL) is the standard for the implementation and design of application management, including setting up management processes such as incident management, capacity management, continuity management and maintenance processes such as impact analysis design and implementation.
New releases of software follow each other faster and faster, which means that the importance of application management is increasing.
For organizations, streamlined application management is an essential condition for continuity in systems. With the certificate, participants show that they are familiar with the conceptual framework, the processes and the activities of application management.
