During the IPMA D course you will gain knowledge about techniques and tools related to project management such as Gantt charts, PERT networks, Work Breakdown Structures, and so on. After the IPMA D training you can place the project management processes and products within a method such as PRINCE2®. During and after the IPMA training you will also learn to be critical of your own performance and you will learn to assess a project.

The IPMA-D course is not only for starting project managers with an MBO or HBO work and thinking level, but also for the more experienced project employee / project manager who needs more theory. You will also gather theoretical underpinnings from all facets of project management.
No prior knowledge is required for this first level of IPMA, but a prior education at HBO level or PRINCE2 Foundation level is a plus. Extensive experience with project management can compensate for a lower previous education.
The course lasts 4 days and you take the exam on another day.

Before you can take the IPMA-D exam, you must complete a self-assessment. During the self-assessment, you provide feedback on your performance during a project. This ensures that a project manager is consciously involved in the profession before he/she is certified. The self-assessment is mandatory and must be submitted before the exam in the portal and D-ICT Solutions will help you with this.
The exam lasts a total of 3 hours and consists of both open and multiple choice questions. The open questions of the IPMA D exam will take approx. Take 120 minutes and the 45 multiple choice questions around 60 minutes.

After successfully completing the IPMA training, you will be awarded the title of Certified Project Management Associate.
The ipma D certificate is valid for 5 years. You can extend the validity each time by demonstrating that you have gained sufficient experience.
All candidates for IPMA D who have successfully obtained a certificate will be included in the IPMA Registry which is updated every month.
