My children consider it 100% normal to follow their courses online now. Funny to see « how normal » they respond to this situation : « yeah, I have my mathematics class online so what’s the big deal? »
We know that children typically need less time to adapt, but the world will never be completely the same. We held virtual classes for some customers who started already and wanted to finish it no matter what and others who were willing to try, often reluctantly!
ENTHOUSIASM was the big conclusion: everyone was very satisfied, found it even better than to run to classes sometimes. From the comfort of your own home, drinking your own coffee:
- Cheaper
- More ecological (!),
- With all the interaction
- Live conversations with your trainer and co-students
Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, Gotomeeting and many other platforms will help us transition to a new reality! Of course many tools are “in the cloud” already, the Corona virus will have created a quick accelaration in the global use of these tools: even “the Friday afternoon drinks at office bar” are being replaced by “online meeting places”. Of course, I m not saying everything will stay as it is for always, but you can bet your last non-digital money that the world will look different, even if we manage to beat the virus…..
And…. SHOULDN’T WE DO THE BEST WE CAN TO DO SOMETHING USEFUL!!??
Some people are just waiting at home, cleaning their house, counting the birds in the sky, but that gets “old” very quickly!
